Don’t miss the chance to be part of one of the most spirited events on the kendo calendar. \nProgram Overview\n📍 September 26 \n\n\n19:00 – Goodwill Geiko at Cayla Dojo – a friendly warm-up to start the weekend \n\n\n📍 September 27 \n\n\n13:00 – Opening Ceremony \n\n\n13:15 – Team Competition \n\n\n18:00 – Free jigeiko \n\n\n20:00 – Dinner with fellow kendoka \n\n\n📍 September 28 \n\n\n07:30 – Shinai Check \n\n\n08:15 – Day 2 Opening Ceremony \n\n\n08:30 – Individual Competitions (Open\, Ladies\, Juniors) \n\n\n12:00 – Lunch Break \n\n\n16:30 – Finals & Closing Ceremony \n\n\nThis kendo competition brings together practitioners from across the region for two days of spirited matches and camaraderie. \nCompetition Categories\nWhether you’re new to kendo or a seasoned competitor\, this kendo competition has a category for you: \n\n\nJunior U-12 – For kendoka up to and including 12 years old. 12-year-olds may also enter U-15. \n\n\nJunior U-15 – Ages 12–15. 15-year-olds may also enter U-18. \n\n\nJunior U-18 – Ages 15–18. \n\n\nLadies – For female kendoka aged 16+. Participants under 18 must submit a signed parental authorization. \n\n\nOpen – For all kendoka 16 and older. Minors require parental consent. \n\n\nTeam – Teams of 3–5 members. Order can change before each match. Minimum age: 16. \n\n\nShinpan (Referees)Along with invited official referees\, we also rely on senior participants to help judge matches during the kendo competition.
